It seems more than likely that we will all know someone with Autism- either personally or professionally. Since the diagnosis can mean so many different things for each individual child, this workshop can help to demystify some common myths about Autism, while helping you understand how a few simple adaptations can make the world of difference in a young person’s life.

Session Objective

This workshop aims to provide information about what an Autism is, and how you can create an inclusive and supportive environment for children with Autism. Part One: This session will cover what an Autism diagnosis is, what are the core deficits of Autism and understanding the spectrum of abilities and challenges.

Part Two will introduce you to practical supportive strategies to create an inclusive environment for all children.
