<p>Mary-Kate Asante-Antwi is a Registered Nurse Consultant from Humber College who provides consultations, training, and resources to Resource Consultants in the Every Child Belong Model. Her major role is to increase knowledge and build capacity among Educators to support children with medical needs in Child Care Centers and registered home child cares. Mary-Kate holds Masters of Science in Nursing with education specialty from Walden Univerisity, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of New Brunswick and an advanced diploma in Practical Nursing from Humber College.&nbsp; Her Role as RNC also entails providing training in the community to other professionals in understanding children with medical needs and with different complex medical diagnoses. Her vast experience includes practicing nursing in hospitals and in the community. She has also worked in school boards in providing a plan of care for medically fragile children in elementary schools. Some of her experiences include working with vulnerable populations with diverse medical conditions.&nbsp;</p>
