Rosalba is a highly experienced and dedicated pedagogist with a rich background in education, and pedagogical research Rosalba graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and majored in Psychology. She began her career as an educator in a kindergarten classroom in 1994, which served as the starting point for her exploration of the Reggio Emilia approach. Rosalba has a deep interest in and knowledge of the Reggio Emilia approach, a unique and innovative educational philosophy. She has visited infant-toddler and preschools in Reggio Emilia to further her research into their guiding principles in education.
Rosalba owned a private nursery school that also functioned as a learning lab for educators. It served as a hub for study tours, study lab weeks, workshops, and weekend retreats.It was the first early learning program in the area to take this approach to early learning and introduce it to the community. Advocating for both children and educator’s rights into education, research, and building community relationships. She taught early childhood education at the School of Early Childhood Education at Seneca College, passing on her knowledge and expertise as well as learning from students.
Rosalba has been a pedagogical consultant for over 29 years, offering her expertise to various educational institutions and professionals with study groups, conferences, and workshop sessions.
