Dr. Krista Edwards, Ph.D. is a psychologist, published author and co-founder of the Black School Psychologists Network, Inc. who currently works with youth in intermediate and high schools. She completed her doctorate degree in school psychology at the University of Missouri and her research interests are in how caregivers help Black youth navigate race related stress and intersectionality and the impacts of Afrocentric curriculums. As an identity specific psychologist, she works with African, Black, and Caribbean students who might be struggling with mental health and school. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, engaging in activism, and working on passion projects.
