Description

Join us for a day of connection, inspiration, and play as we come together to explore Pedagogy, Care, and Mentorship in early learning. This professional learning day invites educators, mentors, and leaders from across Toronto to engage in reflective dialogue, share stories of practice, and reconnect with the joy and purpose that guide our work with children and families.
About the Day

Together, we’ll reflect on how values and the principles of HDLH shape care and pedagogy and intersect in our daily practice. We will explore the valuable role of mentorship and how we build community of support to nurture both ourselves and one another as professionals. Participants will engage in reflective dialogue, share personal stories of practice, and find renewed energy in the collective joy of learning.
Explore the Inspirational Lab Studios

Participants will also have the opportunity to explore Seneca’s Sensational Lab Studios, where hands-on exploration and creativity inspire new ways of thinking and teaching.
The studio visit will provide opportunity for play and reflection on materials and curriculum making possibilities.
  • Digital Light and Shadow Studio: explore light, reflection, and movement through analog and digital mediums.
  • Architectural Design Studio: design and imagine learning environments that inspire curiosity through blocks, structures and more!
  • Multigenerational Loose Parts Studio: engage in creative experimentation and collaborative play through upcycled and complex materials
