This is Part 1 of 2 sessions offered. Part 2 will be taking place on May 15, 2025. Once you are registered for Part 1, you will be automatically registered for Part 2. Cost of $ 134.99 (plus HST) is for both sessions.

Part One of the two-part training session will provide:

  • An overview of what is entailed in accommodating a child to the point of undue hardship as required under the Human Rights Code.
  • Discussing what happens if a childcare provider cannot accommodate a child.
  • Interactive case studies to be discussed by participants to reinforce learning objectives.

Session Objective

The session objective is to equip all Early Learning and Child Care Professionals  with effective conflict resolution skills and to educate them on their legal obligations under the Human Rights Code  regarding their obligations to accommodate and provide inclusive  care to children with disabilities.
