Description

Biting can be so upsetting for everyone involved, it\'s one of the hardest things for early childhood educators and the families they work with to manage. We will approach this issue with a view to maintaining relationships, as well as stopping the biting.

Participants will be invited to explore reasons for biting and develop a plans for prevention as well as how to respond in the moment.

Session Objective

 

• To understand reasons why toddlers bite.
• To learn ways to prevent biting.
• To learn how to respond when a bite happens.
