Description

Please note that this is Part 1 of 3 sessions offered. Part 2 will be taking place on October 4, 2023, and Part 3 will be taking place on October 11th, 2023. Once you are registered for Part 1, you will be automatically registered for Part 2 and Part 3. The cost of $68.89 (plus HST) covers all 3- Part series.

This workshop will review the developmental domains specific to the Early, Middle & Late School-age child. Specific programming activities and hands - on learning experiences will be provided within the workshop to support skill acquisition.

Take away resources for centres will be provided to assist staff implementing activities into everyday program plans.

Session Objective

  • Participants will discuss the typical patterns of development from ages 6 through 12 years.
  • This workshop will also examine development for children in this age range and reflects on the impact of how school age children present and interact within the large group setting.
