Description

Dr. David C. Factor, Ph.D., C. Psych. Brought to you by Toronto Children's Services, Every Child Belongs and Lumenus Community Services.

This last two years have been like no other in our lifetime as we have been living through a worldwide pandemic that has affected us profoundly.

The unpredictability of meeting the needs of communities resulted in many adaptive changes for all care and service providers, working with children.

All of this increased a collective anxiety around the “unknown’s” and adjusting to the “new” reality.

About Dr. David Factor

Dr. Factor has an eclectic treatment approach and has been trained in clinical, counselling, and school psychology. He has assessed numerous children, adolescents and adults who presented with a wide range of issues in order to help them succeed. Dr. Factor has worked with children diagnosed with ADHD, Autism, learning disabilities, developmental differences, social-emotional challenges, oppositional-defiance and conduct disorder.

Dr. Factor consults to a variety of children’s mental health agencies, including Lumenus Community Services. He is also the consulting Psychologist for the Every Child Belongs model in the North District. This service is offered through the partnership with Lumenus Community Services, formerly Adventure Place.
