This session will be facilitated online via Zoom (a link to the session will be sent to registered participants prior to the session).
The COVID -19 has shown that there has been a dramatic transition to virtual care in the education and healthcare field. With this transition, a variety of benefits and concerns have become apparent to both professionals and families. As a result, we have created this two half-day workshop series to help educators/professionals/practitioners understand and manage these opportunities and challenges in ways that are consistent with the humanistic, solution-focused approach. Participants will learn and rehearse skills that can immediately impact their practice and wellbeing and dive deeper in discovering how to facilitate conversations that are helpful to all stakeholders. Participants will look into how to shift their perspectives from focusing on the individual problem to emphasizing, amplifying, and reinforcing strengths and resources already present. These workshops are highly engaging and participatory.
